Let summer begin!

In addition to serving pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade students in the regular classroom, Faith Christian Academy will begin two programs that the Lord has laid on our hearts for 2010-11.

One is the Dyslexia Center, directed by Mrs. Cindy Hall.  This special division of Faith Christian will offer remedial reading help especially for students with diagnosed dyslexia.  Mrs. Hall will form a team and plan an individualized approach to help the child as quickly as possible.  The goal will be to place the child back in the regular FCA classroom as soon as he/she is ready and continue support to make the student successful.

Our new International School will be geared to helping students from foreign adoptions.  We want them to have the specialized focus from a special teacher who understands their needs.  It may be special help with English, learning about our culture, coping with homework, learning manners and customs--or other specialized needs.

These programs begin in August of 2010, and if you are interested in either of these programs, early registration is vital.  We are enrolling NOW.  For information about the Dyslexia Center or International School, please call (256) 772-8565 and ask to be connected to Cindy Hall.

Our Athens campus continues to offer excellent, accredited pre-K through twelfth grade programs.  k3 (for 3 year-olds) is available for 2010-11 at both the Athens and Madison/East Limestone campuses.

Our beautiful Madison and East-Limestone campus will be offering K3 through Grade 6 in 2010-11.

We stand for excellence in traditional American education, and stand against socialism, New Age, secularism and humanist influences in education.  We are family friendly, Christ centered and Biblically oriented.  In addition to focused academic quality, we offer a caring, safe environment where students can prosper--spiritually, socially, and academically.  School security and safety is a top priority!

I hope the Lord lays on your heart the burden to "train up a child the way in which he should go...." and "in the nuture and admonition of the Lord."

Yours in Christ Jesus,

Wayne Forsythe, Founder and Administrator
