 FAITH CHRISTIAN ACADEMY'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The four members of the Board of Directors have combined educational experience of almost a century. Our board members are former educators with vast experience in both public and private education.

Mrs. Hazel Ruf, M.Ed., (Treasurer). B.A. in Education from Athens College and Master of Education. from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. Mrs. Ruf taught secondary mathematics for many years at Athens High School and taught mathematics and science at a Christian school in Tennessee for  years. She is an active member of the Church of God.

Mrs. Ginger Murphy, B.S.Ed. (Board Secretary). B.S. in Education from Athens College. Mrs. Murphy formerly taught in a Christian school. She is also an accomplished music teacher and choir director. She and her husband attend a local Southern Baptist church.

Mr. Dave Hurst, Rph received his graduate degree from Auburn University.  Mr. Hurst is known for his dedication to education and his support for building literacy through reading.  He works as a local registered pharmacist. He and his family attend a Southern Baptist church in the area. 

Mr. Wayne Forsythe, M.S. (Chairman) is beginning his 32nd year in Christian school education.  He taught in Huntsville and served as assistant principal at a large Christian school in North Alabama in the 1980s.   He attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville an earned the B.S. in Secondary Education from Athens State University. He holds a master's degree in educational administration from Pensacola Christian College (home of A Beka Books). Mr. Forsythe has been with Faith Christian Academy since its inception in 1997. He attends Calvary Baptist Church in Huntsville, AL.
